Many Christians are convinced their old sinful nature doesn't have the power to successfully compete with their new regenerated nature. As a result, sin seems inevitable and maybe even to be expected. Is this true? Is this what the Apostle Paul taught the New Testament church? Does the Bible teach us that born again Christians continue to be saddled with their old nature, or are we really new creations, composed of a new nature and the very mind of Christ? Is the old nature of the regenerated disciple of Jesus really crucified, dead, and buried...or is it still very much alive and well? If we really are new creations, how is it possible that we can still revert to old sinful habits?
